Data Center Electrical Calculator
Data Center PUE, WUE & CUE Efficiency Calculator
Calculate Power Usage Effectiveness, Water Usage Effectiveness, Carbon Usage Effectiveness and DCiE per The Green Grid definitions.
Design Inputs
Use the same measurement period (e.g. one month) for all three energy/water figures. The carbon factor is not looked up automatically — enter the site's actual grid emission factor.
Results
PUE
1.50
DCiE
66.7%
WUE
5.00 L/kWh
CUE
1.05 kgCO₂/kWh
Definitions per The Green Grid: PUE = Total Facility Energy ÷ IT Equipment Energy, DCiE = 1/PUE, WUE = Water Used ÷ IT Energy, CUE = Carbon Emission Factor × PUE. A PUE nearer 1.0 is more efficient; typical facilities range roughly 1.2–2.0 depending on cooling design and climate.

Conductor Sizing
Four independent IEC/IS-aligned sizing tools in one place — HT cables, LV cables, busducts and earthing conductors — each checking ampacity, voltage drop, and short-circuit withstand rather than giving a rough estimate.
Transformer Sizing
Size a power transformer to the nearest standard IEC 60076 kVA rating from connected load, power factor and spare capacity, with primary and secondary full-load current.
UPS Selection
Size a UPS system across Single, N, N+1, Distributed, 2N and 2(N+1) redundancy philosophies, with losses, battery charging load, and standard kVA rating libraries.
Generator (DG) Sizing
Size a standby diesel generator set per ISO 8528, sized on the larger of steady-state running load and the voltage-dip-limited starting requirement of the largest motor.
